As the world continues to change and evolve, we understand the importance of adapting our services to meet the busy schedules of our members. We hold Sunday liturgy via Zoom every Sunday at 11:00 AM EST. This liturgy begins with a welcoming of new members, group discussions, recitation of scriptures, and a reflective homily. As we share prayers, we welcome members to share reflections and expressions of gratitude before the Final Blessing. Contact us today to learn more about joining our online community.
Learn to Pray
Prayer & Discernment of Spirits
Prayer, like most things, requires practice to unlock its full potential. When first learning to pray, many people are challenged with boredom, distraction, monotony, and an absence from God. St. Ignatius developed a prayer technique called the Examen. This practice begins with welcoming God’s presence and expressing gratitude for His love. The next step is a review of your day, reflecting on specific moments, your actions, and the feelings that accompanied. This prayer ends by looking toward tomorrow and considering the ways you can align closer with God.
We offer a 10-week program designed to help individuals learn to pray in way that is reflective, engaging, and spirituality transformative. Each session begins with an opening prayer before moving into a brief discussion, reading of scripture, and faith sharing. Our spiritual leaders will provide insights on the significance of daily prayer, establishing a place to pray, and developing a ritual for prayer.
